The Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Resources Connection Program is a peer-led program focused on connecting our LGBTQIA+ student population with resources on, and around, campus related to LGBTQIA+ topics and issues. The P2P program is overseen by the GSRC Community Advocate & Social Work Practicum Intern whose mission is to ensure that our LGBTQIA+ student needs are being advocated for on, and off, campus.

The P2P program is specifically designed for students who are seeking out additional information and resources about topics including, but not limited to:

  • LGBTQIA+ Student Groups
  • Gender Affirming Care
  • Name Change Processes
  • Information on Gender Inclusive Bathroom Access
  • Connections with LGBTQIA+ Staff/Faculty
  • LGBTQIA+ bias reporting
  • And much more!

How the P2P Works

During the Spring 2023 semester, P2P consultations take place on Tuesday or Thursday.

P2P consultations are private meetings between the student and P2P program lead. If a student is interested, after an initial consultation they may request a follow-up meeting with the Assistant Director and/or Director of the GSRC. Topics and information covered during P2P meetings may be discussed with professional staff as deemed appropriate because these are not confidential advising appointments. If you are interested in confidential advising please check out the Women's Resources Center.
