Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is annually recognized on November 20. First recognized in 1999, it has since evolved into an international movement aiming to recognize and honor all the Trans* lives which have come before us.

We thank our campus partners and friends who all came together to make a full day of events possible as we honor and recognize our Transcestors. This event would not have been possible without the support of the Campus Union for Trans Equality & Support, Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center, the Women's Resources Center, La Casa Cultural Latina, The Counseling Center, and much more. Please read below for our full schedule of events:
Queer Care Breakfast

Stop by the Women's Resources Center for light breakfast! Educational material about TDOR will be available. We encourage all of our Queer & Trans campus community to stop by.
Building Trans* Solidarity: Food for the Soul
- Time: 12:00-1:00 pm
- Location: Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center
Join us at BNAACC for a special Food for the Soul presentation on the history of pronouns and learn more about how to build solidarity with Trans* students on campus.

Join the Campus Union for Trans Equality & Support for their annual recognition of TDOR. This program will be a vigil in honor of the Trans* lives who have come before us and paved the way for our present and future.
"Pay It No Mind": Art Workshop
- Time: 7:00-8:00 pm
- Location: La Casa Cultural Latina
Join The Counseling Center at La Casa for a special art workshop inspired by LGBTQIA+ activist & icon Marsha P. Johnson. During this safe space individuals will learn ways to artistically process emotions via building flower crowns.
