Transgender Awareness Week is an annual celebration of the contributions of transgender people, and an opportunity to address barriers to the safety, equality and acceptance for all transgender people, including youth and families. It is commemorated every year from November 13 - 19.
Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is annually recognized on November 20. First recognized in 1999, it has since evolved into an international movement aiming to recognize and honor all the Trans* lives which have come before us.

Join us at BNAACC for a special Food for the Soul presentation on the history of pronouns and learn more about how to build solidarity with Trans* students on campus.

"Pay It No Mind": Art Workshop

Join The Counseling Center at La Casa for a special art workshop inspired by LGBTQIA+ activist & icon Marsha P. Johnson. During this safe space individuals will learn ways to artistically process emotions via building flower crowns.
